Home Sweet Home!

We have another day of cleaning, but we have a temporary address change. We have, for the next couple of months decided to live in our fifth wheel camper while our house is being built. It will be an adventure for us. We have parked our camper at Mystic Lake Campground.

It's official!

Back to work on our house :-)

This is the view from outside our camper door.  Packing for the big move this coming weekend.  Will be living in our camper until our house is built (if it ever stops snowing that is).  The Bremer adventure begins!

Work on hold....

Hoping for some nice weather. Our build is on hold until the water dries up, and the dirt walls quit caving in. Can't wait to see the next step! It is a muddy site!!

Tuesday to today!

No work done yesterday or today. We have a mud bath in our basement! Hopefully the water will go down so they can get some rock in there. Next step........footings and foundation.

March 26th

       Day 2 of digging!  There is soooo much mud!  When I got there they were pretty much done with digging the foundation.  Tomorrow the city will be there to do an inspection, and the cement truck will follow after that.   It is all happening so fast!  So exciting.

Update on our house...

Well sad news this last weekend......the buyers loan fell threw that were buying our current house :-( . So we are back and decorated to sell our house once again. Please pray that a new buyer will come through our door soon!

As Scott says " it is a new week", and it is! Today was the first dig of our new house. They dug into the frozen ground to get ready for footings tomorrow. All went good until the excavator's track came off. So they had to stop today until that is fixed tomorrow.....then off again to dig a big hole.

Our house website!

Our house is starting :)  Yesterday the survey crew came and put stakes all over our lot.  Was pretty cool!  I stood in what said it was the garage.  Really gave you a perspective of the future home.  Also met one neighbor yesterday.  No young kids, just a husband and wife with older kids.  They were very nice!  She is also a nurse, but works from home in case management.  She told me that Michael will be with lots of friends his age. 

Last weekend we met with a decorating company to pick the color of our house.  That was fun!  Now we just have to hope the colors get approved by the architectural board.  Too many rules for Scott and I to comprehend.  Our house is hopefully going to be a Tan, light tan contrast, with slate blue on the peeks.  With cedar pillars on our deck, and either a fiberglass wood color door or a midnight blue door.  Scott, after the first visit, decided he will just stick to the appliances.  He said it was too much to pick out all that other stuff :) 

We will update as more things are done to our house..........expected move in is the end of April!!
